Demi Lovato Gushes Over MTV's Best Fans Of The Year 'I love you so much, and you truly are not just fans, you're my friends, you're my family. I love you,' Lovato told MTV News about her Lovatics.

Even though Demi Lovato was the only mentor during last night's "X Factor" finale without an act in the competition, that didn't mean she walked away empty-handed. On the red carpet, after Tate Stevens was announced the winner of a $5 million recording contract, MTV News presented the "Skyscraper" singer with the award for having the Best Fans of the Year.
"My Lovatics, thank you so much, I'm so honored. You guys are such an incredible force and an amazing army," she said holding her trophy. "I love you so much and you truly are not just fans, you're my friends, you're my family. I love you."

From winning her first VMA — "So amazing," Lovato told MTV News when asked her top moments from 2012 — to topping the pop charts — "I was very, very thrilled, and it was there for two weeks, which was crazy," she said about "Give Your Heart a Break" landing at #1 on the Billboard charts — there's no question the last 12 months have been tremendous for Lovato. And none of it would have been possible without her trusty Lovatics by her side. "I'm so blessed," she said smiling. "So thanks!"
The award was announced during "The Big & Best of 2012: A Year End Celebration Presented by T-Mobile" during the "Last Fans Standing" competition. The challenge began with 16 different fan armies and then the field was narrowed to the top seven groups (BeyHive, Selenators, Directioners, Beliebers, Little Monsters, Team Britney and Lovatics), five social-media-fueled challenges via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Get Glue were administered over the eight-hour livestream.

Justin Timberlake: Singers are like athletes

Justin Timberlake says touring is like being a professional athlete ' without the private plane.

The star has enjoyed success in both the music and movie industries. Although Justin loves performing live to fans all over the world, the schedule can be gruelling.

'Being on the road, the hours aren't as crazy; but it is a seven-day-a-week job. I compare being on tour for music to being a pro athlete,' he told UK magazine GQ. 'You show up, and for two hours you're exerting yourself, then you go straight to the next place. Or like being a pro footballer. But they probably travel a lot more nicely than I do ' I get on a bus, they probably get on a private plane.'

Justin also revealed that although he spends hours on movie sets shooting scenes, he has more free time than when he is on a music tour. This helps him stay in shape.

'Acting is a different process, in a way; you work 12-hour days at least, but you get two days off,' he explained. 'Then when filming starts you do things that aren't as vigorous because you're working so much, but you can get in short work-outs.'

Axl Rose bans Slash t-shirts at O2

The feud between Axl Rose and the rest of the classic Guns N' Roses lineup has gone to absurd lengths over the years, but the singer's latest stunt may have set a new bar.

During the British Guns N' Roses tour, the group's management has been instructing all security guards to make anyone wearing a t-shirt that includes Slash to remove the shirt or not be allowed in the venue. A source for NME told of a concert goer who was bare-chested under his jacket. When asked why, he said he was told to ditch the Slash t-shirt if he wanted to see the show.

A security guard than confirmed the policy to the source, saying "We were told by the management not to allow anyone into the O2 Arena who is wearing a Slash T-shirt and we are asking anyone who is to remove it and if they refuse they will be turned away."

Of course, that wasn't the only problem for the concert goers. The band went on over an hour late and many fans had to leave after just a few songs to catch the last trains of the night.

Music-News.com was sitting next to the teenager and can confirm all.

Justin Bieber lucky in love

Justin Bieber has never experienced heartbreak.

The 18-year-old singer is happily dating Selena Gomez and has never had a romance which has gone sour. This means that he disagrees with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, who says all singers need to have been through hard relationships to sing about love.

'I haven't gone through it, so I don't really know what it's about. I don't think anyone wants to have heartbreak. I haven't been in that deep a place yet, but I'm still looking. I'm still learning every day,' he told Seventeen magazine.

Justin enjoys his job but it has impacted some areas of his life. He finds it hard to trust people, so he hasn't made many new friends since hitting the big time.

'I don't let anybody close to me. I just rock with my old friends, Ryan and Chaz. I'm happy with the friends I have,' he has explained.

Usher: My album is a diary

Usher's new album is an "art-in-motion diary" which reflects on some of the "heavy transitions" in his life.
The singer has had a tumultuous few years. He got divorced from Tameka Foster in 2009, and is still embroiled in custody issues over their two sons, Usher and Naviyd.
Usher says his upcoming record Looking 4 Myself is about his personal life.
"There's an emotional side to it. Over the last three years of my life, it's no secret I went through some heavy transitions and in that I really came out new. I came out feeling a sense of entitlement and a sense of ownership of all of that I went through to become better and in being able to survive it. So I was looking for something in the music," he told MTV News during MTV First.
"I was looking for something in life. I was looking for something in it has always been right here. It has always been there. So I kind of used the music as a diary in a way, but a creative, artistic, art-in-motion diary."
Usher has explained the concept behind the lead single from the album, Climax.
The promo sees him as a jilted lover who is contemplating shooting his girlfriend's other interest. Usher insists the song isn't about sex.
"Climax was an interpretation to really give people a better understanding 'cause I felt like people really looked at the record for what you heard first, which was Climax. So, people thought sex. It's not about sex. Well, climax is about sex, but not the song. Just so we're clear," he smiled.
"The song is really about kind of the crescendo of a relationship, where you've reached a place where you're gonna dive in or let it go. And the Climax is what it is."
